Bon Scott: Statue of former AC/DC frontman unveiled in home town of Kirriemuir, Angus where he grew up as a young boy before his family moved to Australia. Bon Scott who was born in Forfar is honoured every year in Kirriemuir with an annual BonFest festival growing each year, this year being the 10th, with fans travelling to the three day event event from around the world.
Ayrshire sculptor John McKenna, an AC/DC fan whose other works include a statue of Jock Stein outside Celtic Park, added: "It's a great honour; Bon Scott was an icon of my teenage years."
Attending the unveiling were AC/DC bass player Mark Evans and Tony Currenti, who drummed on AC/DC's debut album.
