 $ The mystery of a Robert Burns Plaque in Hillside near Montrose has finally been solved. A Shetlander Adam Christie who was being treated for a long term mental illness at Sunnside Hosptal at Hillside near Montrose carved the stone to commemorate Robert Burns vist to see relatives and friends of his father William Burnes who was a native of Kincardineshire. Robert Burns stopped off at Hillside to water his horse.
